Awards
Trophies to top 5 in each of the High School, Middle School, and Elementary School sections. Trophies to the top 2 teams in High School, Middle School, & Elementary School.
Superlative prizes: Best Upset, Top Female, Youngest Participant, Best First Tournament
Registration
If you already have a US Chess membership, registration is $20. If you do not have an existing US Chess Membership ID, registration is $25 and includes a 1-year US Chess membership ($24 value), which Charleston Scholastic Chess will create for you. A US Chess membership entitles you to play in any rated chess tournament in the United States and you will receive a rating and will be ranked nationally among competitive chess players.
