Prizes got their own tab and a lot more range. Clubs got a roster that outlives any single tournament. And registrations can now arrive from a spreadsheet.

Prizes

April's prize engine moved out of the standings tab and into a Prizes tab of its own, with a phone layout, print support, and a lot more to configure:

• Trophy prizes, decided on tiebreaks rather than money, with stable ranks as the field changes
• Tournament-wide prizes, starting with Biggest Upset — which can be offered as a trophy too
• Best Female Performance, awarded on an answer the event collected rather than on a guess
• Payout bookkeeping: what a prize was projected to pay, and what was actually paid when it was marked Paid, kept as a record rather than a checkbox
• Prize configurations can be saved without a dollar amount, so the structure can be set up before the money is decided
• The Prizes tab is available during pre-event setup, not only once results are in

Promo codes

Hand out a discount without publishing a second price. Codes are created per tournament on the Payment tab, apply across every section and entry option, and are copied by tournament duplication and carried onto each occurrence of a recurring series. The code a player used is recorded on their registration, and the Promo Code box only appears once a tournament has a code someone could actually use. See Registration & Payments.

Club player records

Clubs have a Player Records page spanning every tournament they have run: search it, filter by date, choose which fields to show, and export to CSV. It has a phone layout, and the export matches what is on screen.

Registrations from a spreadsheet

Import a registration list from a spreadsheet, mapping your columns onto TournaChess fields. Online usernames and NWSRS identity carry through, and every registration records where it came from — online, entered by a director, or imported.

Teams

The Teams tab gained roster management, and team standings and rosters can be printed.

• Sections can be paired and rated on Chess.com or Lichess ratings
• Full-text search across the documentation
• A Show map setting embeds the venue's location on the tournament page
• Online rating sources can be dragged into your preferred order
• Directors can close registration to everyone, or hold a single section shut without deleting it
• A director can set a player's chess title by hand, including both FIDE titles
• Custom fields split into single-line Text and Long Text
• An optional survey on the signup form
