- Dismiss team-name similarity suggestions when two schools really are different. Your browser remembers the dismissed pair for that tournament, and you can restore suggestions whenever you need them. See Team Roster.
Give players better venue directions
Add a Location Description with formatted room, entrance, parking, and accessibility details while keeping Location Address focused on maps and directions. Players can find the details on registration and tournament pages, even when maps are turned off. See Creating Tournaments.
Pick preferred boards from the pool
Directors can now choose a player's preferred board from a dropdown when their section uses the tournament board pool. The list includes the section's reserved boards and shared boards, without offering boards reserved for another section. Clear the choice with No preference; sequential sections still accept a typed board label. See board pool settings.
Reuse your club’s board pool
Set up your playing hall’s board labels once, then reuse them in another tournament from Saved Board Pool Configurations. Save named configurations, overwrite them when your venue changes, or delete ones you no longer need. Create, rename, and edit configurations directly in Club Settings → Board pools, without modifying a tournament. Each tournament keeps its own independent copy, so updating a saved configuration never changes an event already using it. See the board pool guide.
Correct registration details through the API
Integrations with a read and write API key can now update registration fields, including a player’s USCF ID, using the same validation and club permissions as the tournament UI. The interactive API reference includes the request format, a USCF ID example, clearing instructions, and response details. See Developer Access to get started.
Carry prizes into every quad
Set up your section’s prizes once before splitting it into quads. Every resulting group now inherits the full prize pool, with independent settings you can adjust for that group. Recorded payments stay with their players. See converting a section to quads.
Pick up where your tournament comparison left off
The tournament Dashboard now remembers your comparison tournaments in this browser, so you can return to the same registration-pace chart without choosing them again. Search the picker by name or date, compare up to five past club events, and remove individual lines or clear the selection whenever you like. Choices are separate for each signed-in account and tournament, and do not sync between devices.
See registration activity and tournament comparisons for details.
